In order to facilitate the academic communications in financial accounting field, and promote the development of research on financial accounting. The “Asia-Pacific Management Accounting Association (APMAA) Conference----Management Accounting: The Optimization of Management Control System” will be held on November 14-17, 2012 in Xiamen University. The conference is co-sponsored by the Center for Accounting Studies (key research institute for Humanities & Social Science of ordinary Colleges and Universities authorized by China’s Ministry of Education), Institute for Financial and Accounting Studies (national “985 project” second-stage innovation platform), and Accounting Department (national key disciplines) of Xiamen University. We call for paper submissions to this conference. The official language of this conference is English. English paper based on the background of management accounting is especially welcome.
Possible topics include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Design and implementation of management accounting system
2. Theory of management control
3. Optimization of management control
4. Optimization of management accounting report system
5. Optimization of overall budgeting management
6. Risk management and managerial control
7. Internal report system and incentive institution
8. Performance management and managerial control
9. Strategic management control
10. Management accounting research methods
11. Teaching methods in management accounting and cost accounting
Paper submitted to the conference should have creativity, clear ideas, full and accurate materials, canonical format of literature citing and noting, rigorous research methods, and the submitted paper should be the unpublished original research. All submissions are subject to a anonymous review process. At the same time, the accepted paper will be included in the conference proceedings and the full-text database of China important dissertations published by Chinese academic journals (cd-rom version). If No, please indicate in your paper.
Paper submitted to the conference should include: (1) First page: title/author’s name/work units/author’s tile and duties/means of communication (address, zip code, phone number, e-mail address); (2) Second page: title in English, abstract in English (about 100 words; illustrate the main content of the paper, important viewpoint and the academic innovation) and keywords; (3) Text page; (4) References. Working papers should indicate the corresponding author and contact information. In general, paper submitted to the conference should be in English (word document). Format requirement: A4 paper; Times New Roman on the 5th word and 1.5 line spacing.
Submission to the conference must be addressed by email on or before September 25, 2012. Please keep your own copies. Please indicate “Asia-Pacific Management Accounting Association Conference----Management Accounting: The Optimization of Management Control System” in the mail subject. Please fill in the submission receipt, and put it in the cover page of your paper when submit your manuscript.
Deadline of the Submission: September 25, 2012(based on the date of email).Authors will be notified of their acceptance to the conference by October 10, 2012. Please send the submission receipt to conference affairs before October 15, 2012.
Registration Fees and Travelling Expense (including material expenses, rent fees and dining): ￥1300 for a participate, ￥1000 for a student. The travel expense and accommodation fees during the conference will pay by participants themselves.
