In order to strengthen academic exchanges and cooperation between Xiamen University and Macao University of Science and Technology, promote academic cooperation and think tank development in accounting and related disciplines between the Mainland and Macao, and jointly promote the development of academic research in accounting, The "Xiamen University-Macao University of Science and Technology Intercollegiate Academic Forum", jointly sponsored by the Accounting Development Research Center of Xiamen University, the Key Research Base of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education, the Accounting Research Center of Macau and the Accounting Department of the School of Management of Xiamen University, was held on Friday, June 16, 2023 at Xiamen University.

Lin Zhijun

He received his PhD in Economics from Xiamen University (China's first PhD in Economics and Accounting). He has taught at Xiamen University, University of Lethbridge, University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Baptist University and Macau University of Science and Technology (formerly Dean of Business School, Associate Vice President and Vice President).   He is currently the director of the Academic Accreditation Office of Macao University of Science and Technology, professor of Business School, doctoral supervisor, and director of Macau Accounting Research Center. Professor Lin is the director of the Financial Management Branch Committee of the Chinese Society of Management Science, Vice Director of the Overseas Academic Exchange Committee of the Accounting Society of China, Vice Chairman (China Affairs) of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Australia, Vice Chairman of the Financial Technology and Algorithm Professional Committee of the China Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics,   Chairman of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Logistics and Supply Chain Innovation Alliance,  and director of the Macao Blockchain Application Research Institute, etc.

Liu Feng

Doctor of Economics (Accounting), Xiamen University. He is currently the director of the Accounting Development Research Center of Xiamen University, the editor-in-chief of Contemporary Accounting Review (CSSCI Collection), the national advanced accountant, the famous accountant of the Ministry of Finance, and the member of the International Financial Reporting Standards Advisory Committee (IFRS Advisory Committee). His main research areas are basic accounting theory and accounting standards; Auditing, taxation, mergers and acquisitions in a regulatory environment. He has published more than 70 papers in academic journals such as Economic Research, Management World, Accounting Research, Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, Journal of Business Ethics, etc. He has published nearly 20 books and textbooks, such as Research on Accounting Standards, Changes in Accounting Standards and Foundation of Accounting. He has presided over a number of national Social Science Foundation research projects, natural science Foundation projects and major projects of the Humanities and Social Science base of the Ministry of Education, and won national awards and honors such as the Huo Yingdong Foundation of the Ministry of Education's "Outstanding Young Teachers Fund Award in Institutions of Higher Learning", the first Outstanding Young Teachers Award in Institutions of higher Learning of the Ministry of Education, the special government allowance of The State Council, and the Baogang Excellent Teachers Award of the Ministry of Education.
