On the afternoon of June 15, "the third 2022 base construction work conference of the accounting development research center of Xiamen University, the key research base of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of education", was held in the conference room on the third floor of the school of management. The meeting was presided over by Yu Lisheng, vice president of the school of management.
Professor Liu Feng, the director of the base, first introduced the recent phased achievements of the center from the aspects of scientific research, talent training, academic exchange, data and information construction, suggestions on the administration of resources, deepening the reform of scientific research system and mechanism, and introduced the work plan by the end of the year.
Du Xingqiang, director of the Accounting Department, put forward suggestions and opinions on further improving the work of the center from the aspects of strengthening international cooperation and exchange, academic paper grades and award-winning achievements.
Gao Herong, director of the Social Sciences Division, gave comprehensive guidance to the five construction projects of the base. He pointed out that it is necessary to clarify the role of the base, highlight the positioning, characteristics and advantages of the base, gather the main attack direction, strengthen personnel integration, and constantly improve the system and mechanism.
Li Jianfa, former executive deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Xiamen University and President of the school of management, said that the center is an important supporting platform for the discipline construction of the college. The college attaches great importance to the construction of the center and will jointly hold a joint meeting with the accounting department, other departments and the social science department of the university to jointly promote the development of the center. Li Jianfa stressed that the center should focus on the research field, strengthen the problem orientation and problem awareness, promote relevant work according to the standard requirements, strengthen the center's work in team building, advisory services, brand building, international exchanges, external publicity, mechanism innovation, give full play to the role of the national team of the base, carry out high-level academic exchanges, and produce high-quality and landmark scientific research achievements, so as to better serve the national and regional economic and social development.
