From May 11 to 14, Zhang Rong, Secretary of UCPC, led a delegation to Macao to promote close cooperation with many universities in Macao.

During his stay in Macao, Zhang Rong and his delegation visited the Macau  University of science and technology and the "Macau Accounting Research Center" jointly built base. The delegation was received by President Li Xingwei and vice president Lin Zhijun.

During the talks, Professor Lin Zhijun, director of Macau Accounting Research Center, introduced the cooperation progress since the establishment of the base to Secretary Zhang Rong, who highly recognized it. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on future work plans and academic cooperation.

The "Macau Accounting Research Center" was approved by Xiamen University and Macau University of Science and Technology in 2020 and reported to the Ministry of education for filing. It is an overseas partner base jointly established by the "Accounting Development Research Center of Xiamen University", a key research base of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education, and the Business School of Macau University of Science and Technology. The two sides will cooperate closely to jointly build the center, integrate and make full use of teaching and research resources, deeply study the theoretical and practical development of accounting discipline, and promote academic cooperation and exchanges in accounting and related disciplines in the mainland, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and overseas.
