Professor Li Jianfa, Dr. Lulu Bao and Professor Zhang Guoqing of our center published "Research on Government Asset Governance from the Perspective of Public Property Rights" in the Journal of Xiamen University(Arts & Social Science) No. 1, 2022, which was abstracted by the arguments of China Social Sciences Digest, Issue 6, 2022.

The paper points out that one way for governments to provide public goods and services to society is through the efficient use of their assets. In the late 1980s, government asset management began to become a unique field of public management in Australia, the United Kingdom and some cities in the United States. The impetus for government asset management reform is largely due to severe fiscal pressure and limited sources of fiscal revenue. This paper analyzes the current situation and problems of Chinese government asset management, discusses government asset governance based on the theory of public property rights, and puts forward the framework of government asset governance.

At present, the "four major abstracts" recognized by the Chinese social science academic community are "Xinhua Digest", "Chinese Social Sciences Digest", "Academic Digest of Liberal Arts of Colleges and Universities" and "Renmin Congress Copy Newspaper and Periodical Materials (Series)". This time, the article of Professor Li Jianfa's team was reprinted by China Social Sciences Digest, which to a certain extent reflects the high academic attainment and influence of the article, and also reflects the recognition of our center's research achievements in the field of government accounting by scholars in the academic community, which further enhances the academic influence of our center in the country.
