On the afternoon of September 20, "the fifth 2022 base construction work conference of the accounting development research center of Xiamen University, the key research base of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of education", was held in the conference room 502 of the school of management.

Professor Liu Feng, the director of the base, reported on the implementation of the base construction of the last joint meeting firstly, and then introduced the recent achievements of the base in the aspects of project approval, paper publication, advisory services, academic awards, academic exchanges, personnel training, and standard formulation database construction, etc. He also introduced in detail the work plan of the base in the next phase, such as the promotion of publications, preparation for high-end conferences, etc., and expressed that he would further strengthen the construction of the base.

Gao Herong, director of the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee, Teacher Work Department and the Social Science Department, gave comprehensive guidance on the construction of the base. Director Gao pointed out that the base should strengthen the signature of the results, the integration of personnel and the filling of scientific research results, accelerate the implementation of the development plan and actively expand the influence of the base.

Huang Shoufeng, deputy director of Social Science Department of Xiamen university, pointed out that it is important to combine the joint meeting system of base construction, summarize each meeting to discuss the development of base proposals, strengthen the combination of base construction standards, improve the information construction of base full-time staff and expand the results of talent cultivation.

Du Xingqiang, director of the accounting department, put forward suggestions and opinions on further improving the construction of the base from the aspects of strengthening the publication of articles, research fields and system innovation.

Li Jianfa, former executive deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Xiamen University and President of the school of management, said that the base should promote development in conjunction with construction standards. He stressed that the base should fully demonstrate its historical accumulation and contribution, play the role of academic leadership actively, and build a unique brand of the base. At the same time, the base should strengthen its work in team building, advisory services, international exchanges, mechanism innovation and other aspects, strive to produce high-quality research results, so as to better serve the economic and social development.
