Our center held an interdisciplinary symposium on "Accounting + Atmospheric Science"

On October 25, 2022, to strengthen the interdisciplinary research, the "Accounting + Atmospheric Science" interdisciplinary symposium was organized by the Accounting Development Research Center of Xiamen University, a key research base of humanities and social sciences of the Ministry of Education, in Room 502, 5th Floor, Chengfeng Building. More than 10 people attended the symposium, including Professor Duan Anmin, Associate Professor Hu Jun, Postdoctoral Fellow Zhang Chao, Dr. Yang Xianyi, Dr. Cao Shutao from the School of Ocean and Earth Sciences, Xiamen University and our center’s full-time researchers Associate Professor Liu Yuanyuan, Assistant Professor Li Shengnan, Assistant Professor He Yuan and other postdoctoral students. Associate Professor Xiong Feng, Deputy Director of the Center for Accounting Development and Research, School of Management, Xiamen University, chaired the symposium.

During the symposium, Associate Professor Xiong Feng discussed with Prof. Duan Anmin the change of climate. The Center's full-time researchers Liu Yuanyuan, Li Shengnan, He Yuan, and other young faculty members exchanged their views on global warming with Professor Duan. Professor Duan Anmin explained the impact of human activities on climate.

Finally, Associate Professor Xiong Feng re-emphasized the necessity and importance of cross-discipline and hoped that through communication, we could collide more sparks and do interesting research.
