On March 11, 2023, Professor Luo Jinhui of the Accounting Development Research Center of Xiamen University served as the chief expert of the research and interpretation of the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the CPC National Social Science Fund major project "Research on Building Pro-Qing Government and Business Relations in the New Era" (project number: 22ZDA045) the opening demonstration meeting was successfully held in the 302 Conference room of the School of Management of Xiamen University. More than 20 people, including the chief expert of the research group, the person in charge of each sub-project, experts of the expert group and representatives of doctoral and master students, participated in the opening demonstration meeting.

The proposal meeting was presided over by Professor Li Xinchun, former dean of School of Management, Sun Yat-sen University. The meeting took the form of "project report + expert guidance" and "online + offline" interactive discussion. Professor Luo Jinhui, the chief expert of the project and the Accounting Development Research Center of Xiamen University, made the opening report. Expert group members Professor Liu Xing from School of Economics and Business Administration of Chongqing University, Professor Nie Huihua from School of Economics of Renmin University of China, Professor Li Jianfa from Accounting Development Research Center of Xiamen University, Professor Jia Ming from School of Management of Northwestern Polytechnical University, and Professor Li Xinchun from School of Management of Sun Yat-sen University made comments in turn.

The conference closely focused on the core theme of "Research on the Construction of pro-Qing government-business relations in the New Era", and reached a lot of consensus on the theoretical basis, historical origin and practical problems and difficulties of the construction of pro-Qing government-business relations in the new era, which pointed out the direction for the future research of the project.

Professor Luo Jinhui, the chief expert of the project, made a report to all the experts attending the proposal meeting on the research background, general problems, research objects and main contents, general ideas, overall research framework and sub-topic composition, internal logical relationship among sub-topics, and research progress of the project.

Subsequently, the members of the expert group reviewed and discussed the basic design of the subject, and further put forward a number of constructive suggestions on the research scope and research focus of the subject. The experts and scholars at the meeting agreed that the project has great theoretical value and profound practical significance. The project design is lofty, the research vision is broad, the research ideas are clear, and the research framework is reasonable. At the same time, the research content can be enriched, and the theoretical innovation needs to be strengthened. The members of the research group are all experts and scholars who have long been engaged in the research on corporate governance, local government governance and the relationship between government and business. The composition of the staff is reasonable, the research accumulation is profound, and the research strength is rich. The research progress is relatively fast, and preliminary achievements have been made, which lays a good foundation for follow-up research. The subject has the conditions and possibility to produce high-quality research results.

At the end of the meeting, Professor Luo Jinhui, the chief expert, made a concluding speech. Professor Luo Jinhui thanked the experts for their generous advice and the leaders of each sub-subject for their long-term strong support. He said that the research group would carefully absorb the insightful guidance provided by the experts, further improve the research ideas, enrich the research content, optimize the research main line, focus on the research focus, and strive to deliver a high-quality and systematic research results. It will make positive contributions to building pro-Qing government-business relations in China's new era. On the basis of explaining the spirit of the CPC Central Committee and serving socialist modernization, it will tell the Chinese story to the world and show "Chinese governance" and the "Chinese wisdom" contained in it.
