Kirill Novoselov is AssociateProfessor of Accounting at the Nazarbayev University Graduate School ofBusiness. Kirill earned his PhD in Accounting from the University of Texas atAustin and worked for seven years as Assistant Professor at the Hong KongUniversity of Science and Technology, where he taught graduate andundergraduate courses in financial and managerial accounting. After graduatingfrom Moscow Institute of Electronics and Mathematics in 1993, he worked in theinsurance industry and earned his MBA at the University of North Dakota in2001. He served in the Soviet Army in 1986–1988.
In his research, Kirill uses theinsights from microeconomics and decision analysis to solve practical problemsin financial reporting, managerial accounting, and auditing.
