Personal Profile: Professor James Ang obtained a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering University of the Philippines, master and doctorate degree in industrial management from Purdue University in United States. He is mainly engaged in the finance major research and measurement methods. Now he is a finance professor of Florida State University in United States and a board member of the world's largest academic organization FMA (Financial Management Association) where he served as a president and editor previously .Professor James Ang has published more than 150 papers. According to a survey published by Journal of Financial Literature in the 2005 winter, the number of papers published by James Ang ranked No. 3 in 72 finance journals, ranked NO.28 in the 16 core journals, ranked NO.39 in seven leading financial journals. His research field is very wide, the paper relates to corporate finance, investment, corporate governance, tax law, personal finance and investment, international finance and small business finance. In addition, James Ang professor is the "Distinguished Scholar" in or USA Bank.
James Ang was the editor and reviewers of Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of Financial Research, European Financial Management before,and a member fo many academic organization ,such as Western Finance Association,Eastern Finance Association,Southern Finance Association,European Financial Management Association.
